Who is Safetybicycle. com
SafetyBicycle (SB) is a 'blind' qualified and independent group-network of European analysts in the EU bicycle world. Seized in 2000 in Milan, the group is in fact a sensitive think-tank aimed to a global (technical, commercial and social) repositioning of the bicycle in EU.
Main activities are:
- supporting a more deep understanding and monitoring of EU extra&intra trade streams for bicycle and bicycle-parts, aimed to enhancement of EU strategies.
- supporting the parts-makers role and profile in every strengthening policy, at present also against extra EU unfair trade,
- promoting, as one tool of the said 'repositioning' strategy, the pursuance of continental Product EN Safety Standards,
-projecting new environment-related strategies as a way to improve the exploitation of the EU bicycle resources.
The activity has been carried on since years thanks to affordable relationships with many , and not only European, subjects as: COLIPED, UCI, CEN, EBMA, COLIBI, ETRA, ECF, Velo-city.
Very often the multi-cultural group of SB is quite in advance in sound on future trends, expectations and concerns of consumers and manufacturers.
This capacity was shown e.g., in the successful organization of the Bologna Convention February 8th, 2003 focused on the European theme of the ''Chinese Threat'' (Many manufacturing activities settled in Europe including bicycle industry now seem to be in danger of severe contraction).
The same sensibility has been shown, e.g., when SB launched in 2004 a warning against the excessive delay in the introduction of the EN Safety Standards: a multi-purpose project that could also help to alleviate the malaise of the European Industry.
This delay in the era of the EU integration process is retarding the abolition of internal technical barriers represented by the restrictive pursuance of the too many national regulations.
Last but not least, Safety bicycle is involved in local projects on Elba Island, ITALY.

bene ci voleva proprio, benvenuti a tutti. Ora pensiamo a diffondere il verbo e a creare la comunità .
Sotto con lo spamming! scherzo però una bella mail con un bel invito in pdf, mandata agli utenti di safetybicycle non sarebbe male.
